Eftychia Stamkou

Eftychia Stamkou is a social and cultural psychologist. She completed her undergraduate studies in psychology at Panteion University of Athens (B.Sc. in 2008; summa cum laude) and her postgraduate studies in social and organizational psychology at the University of Amsterdam (M.Sc. in 2011; cum laude). She conducted her dissertation research at the Department of Social Psychology of the University of Amsterdam (Ph.D. in 2018). In 2014 she was a visiting scholar at Columbia University, Columbia Business School. Since 2016 she has been working as an assistant professor of social psychology at the University of Amsterdam.

The Fulbright Schuman Program, administered by the Fulbright Commission in Belgium and jointly financed by the U.S. State Department and the Directorate-General for Education and Culture of the European Commission awards grants to European citizens to conduct research in the United States and to American citizens to conduct research in the European Union.
